There is not much else in the retail world that can compare to the excitement of Black Friday sales.

You may have been a part of it yourself. Maybe you stood in line in the cold at your local Target or mall to get a USB drive for $4 or some crazy-good deal.

And Cyber Monday, even…maybe you took advantage of those deals online that are so hard to pass up as well. But those days have passed already. It’s time to countdown to Christmas and you are running out of time if you haven’t done your shopping and you are running out of time if you haven’t gotten the kind of deals you were hoping for for yourself.

Don’t worry.

Retailers do one thing and they do it very well. It’s called enticing you to buy.

Christmas has no chance of arriving without even more and maybe even better deals showing up. You just have to look in the right places.

There a lot of coupon sites online. We like to think this one is a bit special since we really do pull every single coupon by hand, not some retail robot.

You’ll have to trust me that there are going to be great deals not only between now and Christmas, but don’t forget the After-Christmas sales as well. By the way, if I were you, I would NOT try to return ANYthing on that particular day. It’s just not sane. The return lines are notoriously long and they die down in a couple of days, so if you can wait to return things a couple of days you will be a much happier person, and happy people make better decisions on purchases, right? Right.

Find the deals for just about every possible category of product right here on CouponBuzz.com and you will be on your way to savings. I am tempted to tell you to keep it a secret to spite your friends (you know the ones) but that just wouldn’t be very Christmasy, now would it? So spread the word! Spread the love and spread what we like to call “Coupon Buzzicity”. That’s what buzz is all about! See you soon!

It happens every year. I get all excited about what I may be for Halloween, as early as Spring or Summer. I will get crazy ideas about what the whole family could be as well and the ideas remain just that: ideas.

I procrastinate all Summer because, let’s face it, Summer is fun. Then I get sucked into the vortex of pre-Fall, with Back to School worries and new TV shows (yes, I watch a ton of shows) and things at work usually pick up with many fiscal years ending in Seotember, etc. The next thing I know, it’s time to go to the Halloween party and I have no costume. So if this happened to you, let’s promise each other we will be more prepared next year.

Halloween costumes can get pretty expensive. Some get pretty elaborate and costs hundreds of dollars. But if you know someone who can sew or handy with plastics or rubber materials, you can probably convince them to make you one from scratch. But how many friends do you have that are synthetics experts? Right. So it comes down to finding a great deal somewhere or nothing.

Fortunately, there are a ton of places that sell Halloween costumes, both online and locally. The local shops have less and les appeal to me, since they are typically overcrowded and under-staffed. Also, the store is usually a huge mess, with wigs and teeth and Superman outfits strewn all over the place. Not my cup of tea at all. I prefer to look online.

I was pleased to find some great places online for costumes. There were a bunch out there, so it was a bit hard to choose. I decided on halloweencostumediscounts.net and I was not disappointed.

It came down to three main things to decide on my Halloween site:

Ease of use. I need the site to be easy to navigate. Search results need to be relevant or it’s a big waste of time.

Large Inventory. Not only do I want a huge slection to choose from, I also want to make sure that if the one I select is going to be very popular that year, that it will be in stock. The big players are much better at maintaining proper stock.

Pricing. Of course I want a good deal for a costume. You’d have to be crazy to want to pay too much, right?

Shipping. Free shipping would be nice, but it’s not always available. Most cotumes are lightweight so shipping is usually not too much of a problem. Beware of places that charge too much.

Being a procrastinator is something that will probably not change for me. But I need to make sure that such a problem doesn’t also make me broke for having to buy an expensive last minute costume from a local store. I can get one fast from my new favorite website and be done with it.

Memorial Day is a day to reflect on those who have fought and perished for the good of our country. We are indeed deeply in their debt.

Most people take the 3-day weekend to celebrate in one of the greatest pastimes in America: the outdoor barbeque!

Whether it’s hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs or steak, millions of Americans like to launch their summer on this day by having a huge barbeque with friends and family.

Retailers take the opportunity to sell a lot of gas and propane grills and the myriad of accessories the weeks before this holiday, so you can make sure you have evertying you need for your long weekend.

When I take out my grill after not using it all winter, it obvioulsy needs some attention and cleaning. My utensils need replacing and I usually find an excuse to get a few more specialty BBQ items, like a fish or vergetable rack: the skillet or pan with small holes in it that allows you to cook smaller items on the grill that might slip through the grill’s cooking surface. Yeah, that one.

But most of the stores around here charge too much for these supplies. They discount the big ticket items like the grill itself, but then get a huge margin on accessories that they just know you are going to get anyway!

Get online and find a deal, for crying out loud! Better yet, let me or the team here at CouponBuzz find one for you! Just subscribe to the feed of your choice and you’ll be able to stay on top of the deals AS THEY HAPPEN. It’s as simple as checking your email or your favorite RSS reader (I like Google Reader the best, just saying.)

Spatulas, cleaning brushes, specialty items like that chicken over the beer can holder…you never know what items are going to go on sale, or more commonly, all items at a particular store that have anything to do with grilling go on sale at once, and we are here to snag the info, whether it’s coupons or just deals too good to miss!

So go shake the hand of or hug or kiss a member of the armed services on this Memorial Day. Let’s be thankful for our freedom!
