There you are sitting at home with dishes to do, floors to be swept and vacuumed, laundry to do, dinner to fix, children to bathe and bills to be paid. You spend your days completing all the necessary tasks without complaint and try to make sure all your kids and husband are happy and healthy. You don’t have time to exercise as much as you would like, you don’t ever go shopping by yourself and rarely have quiet time to read a good book. Does any of this sound familiar? I think most moms love what they do, but often feel like by the time they give everything to their husband, children, other family members and neighbors, they have nothing left for themselves. I am lucky enough to have a group of friends who understand the need to get away from their normal responsibilities once in a while to relax and refuel the tank that is nearly empty. Now, onto the incriminating pictures I have displayed for the world to see….
I recently became aware of a way to get cheap tickets to events online. Maybe I was just oblivious, but whenever I wanted tickets to a concert or event, I would just always purchase them from the event itself or ticketmaster. But, with the Houston Rodeo here this past month, and with now needing to buy 4 tickets, I wanted to find a way to save money. Even the cheapest seats in the nosebleed section were still $21 a piece, plus all kinds of taxes and fees. So, it would have been about $100 for us to go. Just too much considering we knew the boys wouldn’t be able to stay awake to really even enjoy the concert anyway.
