Awesome kid books!
When I was younger I remember reading Zoobooks and falling in love with animals. Their beauty and their living habitats intrigued me. As I have grown, I have come to look back at Zoobooks and love them to this day.
The great thing about living in 2010 is that you don’t have to wait in anticipation for the magazine to come in the mail anymore. You are able to buy them at book stores, find amazing deals for them online , or go online and interact with their website that is updated daily. I started looking around the website and was pleasantly surprised as to all the things you are able to do. There are free articles for students to read, which might come in handy for reports in school. I was able to find MULTIPLE free games you could play to test your animal knowledge. There are activities to guess the animal by giving out information regarding them. There are hundreds of free articles available to read sorted by animal type. And last the most interesting to me was the “Virtual Zoo”. It is organized by species and goes into detail about their habitats, locations, how they sound (with sound clips) and even have short quizzes at the end to help educate your student.
I was extremely pleased with this website and looking back I wish I had this when I was younger to broaden my knowledge. Again check out zoobooks to start learning and challenging your knowledge with animals.
