Canine Buddies

There are currently nearly 80 million pet dogs in the United States.  Thirty nine percent of households own at least one dog.  With so many of us owning dogs, why is it so difficult to answer the question, “Why do you love your dog?”  In my case, I love their loyalty, companionship, and playfulness.  I love coming home to their wagging tails and wet kisses!  I love how they tolerate playing dress-up with my daughter.  They also great to take along on a hike or use as jogging partners.  At night, they are my watchmen.  In the morning they are my alarm clock.  They are so many different things to our family, it’s hard to imagine life without them.

Doggy Love

There are so many pet stores out there, it’s hard to know which one to choose.  Some have more products, others specialize in organic and earth friendly items, but those aren’t the things that I look for when I go to purchase an item for my dog.  I want to know if the company really cares about dogs.  Do they encourage you to help dogs in your area or donate money to help animals in need?  Do they encourage a sense of community among dog owners by putting you in touch with like minded people?  Do they assist you in learning even more about your well loved dog?

basset houndHow cute is this basset hound?  Looks pretty real, too, eh?  Well, this is only one of  many types of these plush life like looking dogs at PetCareRx.  I came across these while doing my promotions for couponbuzz.com and thought they were just one of a kind.    They literally have every kind of dog you can imagine made into these stuffed toys.  I guess some would just collect them  and using the word “toy” would not be appropriate. But, I would for sure buy one of these for my boys who love to pretend that they have a cat/dog to play with and feed/walk, etc.
